Our Story
Whitehaven is a unique Tudor style building located in the picturesque Plenty Valley. The building is set amongst 13 acres of landscaped English gardens with scenic hills and panoramic mountain views. It is only 40km north of Melbourne and a 20 minute drive from the Melbourne International Airport.
Whitehaven is a family owned and operated business designed, built and established in 1986 by proprietors Carol and Ron Walsh. Originally created for Weddings, the Whitehaven Estate soon became the ideal meeting place for Seminars, Corporate Conferences, Training Courses, Business Lunches, Gala Dinners, Birthday Celebrations, Cocktail Parties, Engagements, Anniversaries, Birth Naming's and Funerals.
Carol and Ron's passion for good food, excellence in service and a very personal approach make Whitehaven truly outstanding. An eye for detail has made it a luxurious venue and constant quality control accredits Whitehaven with the maximum 4 star rating in food hygiene.
