Countryside High Tea Wedding at Whitehaven

A Countryside High Tea Wedding in all its Splendour at Whitehaven

High Tea weddings have become very fashionable and high-end in London. They are a stylish way of having an elegant, countryside inspired wedding ceremony and High Tea reception. The High Tea is fitting for Morning, Lunch or Afternoon reception. The decision to have a High Tea reception makes the organisation of your special day much easier. The High Tea can be arranged in various themes such as Vintage, Rustic and Royal based on the tea traditions.

The wedding ceremony takes place at the elegant white Gazebo, nestled in Cupid’s Garden. The garden is bordered by tall deep-green hedges and cherubs set in the foliage blessing the lovers. Cupid’s garden captures the sounds and scents of nature set in a serene atmosphere, emanating the feeling of a romantic union between the lovers. After your wedding vows, you can enjoy the beautifully landscaped gardens for your photography, while your guests mingle having pre-reception drinks.

Following your wedding ceremony, you and your guests are welcomed by our Master of Ceremonies and shown to your personalized, decorated tables in the Cameo Lounge or the Main Room. Charming teapots, teacups, cream pitchers and sugar bowls and a three-tiered silver server with some divine miniature homemade cakes and macaroons are served for the guests to admire as they help themselves.

Generally speaking, the food offering at a traditional High Tea consists of a selection of gourmet sandwiches, freshly baked scones with King Island double cream and strawberry preserve, and a mouthwatering range of tastefully presented pastries.

Your wedding cake is showcased on the Queen Anne cake table.

As well as different types of loose-leaf tea to choose from, guests can also sip a glass of champagne or sparkling wine. Soft drinks and orange juice is also available.

The gardens were manicured to perfection and statues and waterfall were spot on!”
